Salt Lake City is a town with endless outdoor activities, high activity and energy, and alot of Mormons. There no excuse for boredom in Salt Lake. With several community rec centers, it very easy to meet people and stay in great shape. Fat people really stand out here in SLC. There are infinite numbers of hot women here, ranging from high school to college, to MILFS and it just endless. So no matter how old you are, as long as you above the age of consent you will get laid. The skiing and snowboarding scene here is huge. Meet people, and stay outside, unless the city gets flagged for air pollution (which it regularly does) in which case drive the fuck out of SLC and go to Provo or St. George for the weekend.
A coed boardingpublic school with Day and Dorm students. I was a dorm student. The people that run the school are convinced that they are gods, with a gestapolike mentality. The school principle gives talks in "Chapel" every weekday morning (at least Chapel is nonreligious.) in which he babbles about how great he and his administration are and that we are to appreciate, respect, and praise him. He literally called himself a "savior" in one chapel. Although intelligent, he is culturally ignorant and very racist, like most of the locals. The dean of boarding students is blind, yes, blind, and a complete social predator. He also strives to be king and probably gets off in his office thinking about it. The assistant dean is a morbidly obese bully, with a loud voice and literally swears at students to get them to bend to his will. He told me once to "stay in my own god damn room!" which I thought was extremely inappropriate. The school teachers are completely ignorant and incompetent for the most part, save about 5 teachers. Most of the students bend to the manipulation of the staff because as a high schooler, adults never take you seriously and so the mentality backfires and you believe whatever you told. It is an extremely dangerous environment that sets you back for the real world. I got a 4 on the AP Spanish exam and a 3 on the AP Psych exam and got ZERO college credit. St. Johnsbury did open me up to my love for languages, though, as the students there are highly diverse (korea, mexico, spain, france, china, germany, thailand, etc) and you will definitely learn how to swear in other languages.

Athens is known for having the white population decrease every year and number of gang members start to increase. As a sophomore at ECU, I can definitely talk about my experience here. Freshman year, you will get laid and party alot unless you are a hermit. Don join any fraternities or sororities (except Chi Omega, they cool) because they all extremely cliqueish and just full of racists and christians. As a sophomore you narrow in on your major a little more as you finish off most of your gened and you still party alot, but not as much as freshman year. There are alot of shitty teachers at ECU but also alot of great ones. If you get stuck with a completely shit teacher, advocate for yourself and communicate with your teacher about how you can get the best grade in the class you can possibly get. The teachers at ECU eat this shit up and love when students go hard. So do it.
