An 'unbelievably fast' Sally Pearson is ready
The Gold Coast hurdler sent shockwaves through the team camp when she tripped over a hurdle while preparing for a heat run at the Diamond League meet this month.
Pearson was treated for back pain by her Gold Coast physio before she was eventually beaten by American Kellie Wells in the final.
"We don't need reminders, we don't need reality checks and we don't need hiccups but these things happen," she said. "I'm not going to say it was a good thing, it was just something that happened."
What it did was reiterate how difficult it is to beat the defending world champion and how desperate the world's sprint hurdlers are to claim her scalp.
Pearson was always going to go into London as the hunted, and Hannan said no rival could be discounted.

"You can't discount anyone at all . this is the Olympics.
"We can only control what we can do. We can only get her as ready as she can possibly be. You can't control what anyone else does."
Pearson has trained in all conditions and is prepared to cope with anything the weather can dish up.
But with the sun finally piercing the English summer gloom, signs are strong that she could approach the staggering mark she set to win the world championship in Daegu last year the fastest time in the world for more than 20 years.
"We don't care, we've trained in everything, we're ready," Hannan said. "(But) if London turns on conditions like we've got at the moment it's going to be a pretty fast final."
